World Baking Day Party Packs
We’re so happy to finally show you our World Baking Day party pack in all it’s glory!
With only 11 days to go, it’s time to strap on that apron and #bakebrave. On their way to party hosts now are 2 packs:

G.O.S.H and World Baking Day
Did you know that Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity is the charity partner of Stork for World Baking Day?
The charity will include in the World Baking Day party packs some information leaflets, as well as 2 cardboard charity boxes, and information on how you can raise money for a great cause by doing something simple and fun – a bake sale!
Find out about their Bake it Better scheme – where the money raised by the supporters from their bake sales will help fund the building of a new ward kitchen on their respiratory ward.

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
TAKE A TRIP DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE & HOST A MAD HATTER’S TEA PARTY!
On the weekend of 25th & 26th May 2013, we will be giving people all over the UK the chance to host a “Mad Hatter’s Tea” house party with Morphy Richards and Brita.
Lucky party hosts will receive (free of charge on their doorstep) an amazing Mad Hatter’s Tea party pack. Each party pack will contain loads of Morphy Richards/Brita goodies to give you and your guests a truly magical tea party. Plus on the day you’ll be able to watch Jane Pettigrew’s Tea Masterclass and learn how to make the perfect cup of tea.
If you would like to host a Mad Hatter’s Tea party with your friends in your home on 25th & 26th May then fill out the form on this page and we’ll be in touch if you’ve been picked*. Hurry! We’re limiting the number of Mad Hatter’s Tea party packs to just 200.
Please only apply if you can promise to:
1. Have your party on the weekend of 25th & 26th May with at least 9 friends
2. Take photos & videos of your party goodies & guests and send them to us for a chance to win some stunning prizes. You will need to submit videos of your party.

World Baking Day
On the 19th May 2013, we gave people all over the UK the chance to host official World Baking Day house parties
Lucky party hosts received (free of charge on their doorstep) an amazing World Baking Day party pack. Each party pack contained loads of World Baking Day goodies to help you and your guests create truly magnificent baked masterpieces. Most importantly, we sent all chosen hosts enough Stork margarine (10 x 500g tubs) for you and your guests – the key ingredient in every cake! At the party itself, partygoers used their pack contents to decorate their cakes. We also had fantastic party-day competitions and prizes for Best Cake and for Best Group Photo.
Metal Gear Rising Competition – Grand Prize!
We have some very important and exciting news for you if you are hosting a Metal Gear Rising party on 16th February.
We have some exciting information regarding the Metal Gear competition and amazing grand prize! Please be aware that there have been some changes to the dates listed in your party pack regarding the competition details. All dates printed in your party planner can be ignored.
To enter the best group photo competition, you must email us your photos to mgr@comeround.com before midnight on MONDAY 18TH FEBRUARY. Giving you all of Sunday and Monday to get your photos in. The winner will be notified later that week.
By entering the competition, you and up to 9 mates must be available to travel to London on FRIDAY 22ND FEBRUARY for your grand prize to meet Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear franchise!
In addition, we can announce that every person (up to 9) who goes with the winning host to the meet and greet will have the chance to get one item each of Metal Gear merchandise that they bring themselves signed by Hideo!
Please note that if you were one of our Twitter competition winners hosting a party the following weekend, you are not eligible to win the grand prize, but there are still other activities and competitions to take part in!

Gallo Mosacto Parties – RE: Adverse Weather Conditions
Hi partygoers – well, Christmas came late this year! We hear all of you, as usual, getting very excited for party weekend (in fact, the snow makes a great natural cooling system for your wine). Equally, we hear those of you rightly worried about your guests or yourselves where you need to travel to your parties and we share your concerns; your safety is paramount.
We urge all partygoers to check their local weather listings and travel disruption – http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/ is a great place to start. If you will be travelling be sure to wrap up warm, heed your local travel advice and if you must take a car, make sure you are well stocked with breakdown equipment, water, blankets, food etc. Above all, do not put yourselves at risk.
Hosts: if you’ve received cancellations from your guests, we completely understand that you’ll find it difficult to fulfil all of your promises. We urge you to:
- contact your guests (you can easily make use of the Facebook event to do so online) and plan to reschedule the date for later this weekend (remember, official party days are 18th, 19th and 20th of Jan).
- If the adverse weather continues to threaten your party, we recommend you reschedule for the following weekend (25th-27th)
Stay safe out there folks and enjoy your parties, all being well a get together with friends over some great wine will be just the thing to brighten this cold weekend

Metal Gear Rising
On the 16th February 2013, we gave gamers among the Come Round audience another amazing party. We teamed up with Konami to bring you special pre-release copies of the highly anticipated instalment of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
This stunning takes the renowned METAL GEAR franchise into exciting new territory by focusing on delivering an all-new action experience unlike anything that has come before. Watch the trailer if you don’t believe us.
In a first of its kind for the franchise, Konami partnered with us to offer the chance to receive a pre-ordered copy one week before anyone else in the world, and an opportunity to meet the creator of the Metal Gear series Hideo Kojima.
By hosting a Metal Gear party on Saturday 16th February, gamers received their advance copy and also an exclusive party pack themed around Metal Gear. Bringing the game’s content to life and helping hosts to start their party with a bang, the packs included custom wristbands, t-shirts and posters plus a plethora of bespoke party props.
Released for PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360® across Europe on February 22nd, METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE takes the renowned Metal Gear franchise into exciting new territory with an all-new action experience unlike anything that has come before.
