On the 16th February 2013, we gave gamers among the Come Round audience another amazing party. We teamed up with Konami to bring you special pre-release copies of the highly anticipated instalment of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

This stunning takes the renowned METAL GEAR franchise into exciting new territory by focusing on delivering an all-new action experience unlike anything that has come before. Watch the trailer if you don’t believe us.

In a first of its kind for the franchise, Konami partnered with us to offer the chance to receive a pre-ordered copy one week before anyone else in the world, and an opportunity to meet the creator of the Metal Gear series Hideo Kojima.

By hosting a Metal Gear party on Saturday 16th February, gamers received their advance copy and also an exclusive party pack themed around Metal Gear. Bringing the game’s content to life and helping hosts to start their party with a bang, the packs included custom wristbands, t-shirts and posters plus a plethora of bespoke party props.

Released for PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360® across Europe on February 22nd, METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE takes the renowned Metal Gear franchise into exciting new territory with an all-new action experience unlike anything that has come before. Effortlessly blending pure action and epic storytelling within the Metal Gear universe, METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE uses Raiden as its central character: a child soldier transformed into a half-man, half-machine cyborg ninja, equipped with his signature High-Frequency Blade and fuelled by revenge.
