The reason for these parties (if indeed anyone needs a reason to party) is to get people talking about a new product. The owner of that product just wants you and your friends to have a good time, since they suspect (quite rightly) that you’ll all talk about it (and their product) to other friends and family and so on well after the party finishes. We’ll send hosts a nice box with loads of lovely stuff inside to help them put on a great show. We’ll then ask everyone what they thought. Job done. Now for the legal bit…
Come Round is a service provided and run by Come Round Limited. Company No: 07295031. Registered Office: 51 Clarkegrove Road, Sheffield, S10 2NH (“we”, “are” and “us”). By applying to become (and indeed if you do become) a host of or a guest at a Come Round event (“Event”), you agree to be bound by the following terms:
HOSTS ARE SELECTED RANDOMLY BY OUR CLIENTS AFTER THE RELEVANT CLOSING DATE FOR HOST APPLICATIONS.
AS A HOST YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE THE ABSOLUTE PERMISSION OF THE OWNER OF THE HOME OR PROPERTY IN WHICH YOU ARE PLANNING TO HOLD ANY EVENT. SUBJECT TO THE TERMS BELOW (IN PARTICULAR POINT 6) WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THAT HOME OR PROPERTY OR ANYTHING OR ANYONE IN THAT HOME OR PROPERTY AS A RESULT OF AN EVENT.
AS A HOST YOU AGREE ACTUALLY TO HOST AN EVENT AS SCHEDULED UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US (BY EMAIL TO SUPPORT@COMEROUND.COM) AT LEAST 7 DAYS BEFORE THE DATE OF THE EVENT, FAILING WHICH YOU MAY NOT BE ALLOWED TO HOST FUTURE COME ROUND EVENTS.
QUICK SUMMARY OF ABOVE WORDING : IF YOU ARE NOT 10 YEARS OLD OR MORE YOU CANNOT HOST OR BE A GUEST AT AN EVENT. IF YOU ARE BETWEEN 10 AND 13 YEARS OLD, YOU CANNOT HOST AN EVENT UNLESS WE HAVE OBTAINED THE VERBAL PERMISSION OF YOUR PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN(S) BY TELEPHONE. IF YOU ARE BETWEEN 13 AND 18 YEARS OLD, YOU MUST OBTAIN THE PERMISSION OF YOUR PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN(S) TO PARTICIPATE IN AN EVENT.
2. Intellectual Property. Unless otherwise stated, we and/or our licensors and/or our clients own the intellectual property rights in our website and in the material on our website and any material created in relation to an Event. All of these intellectual property rights are reserved.
3. Website. All warranties arising in relation to our website or its content are to the fullest extent permissible by law excluded, and accordingly we can accept no liability for loss or damage suffered by you as a result of:
(a) The content of the website;
(b) Viruses that may infect equipment;
(c) Website downtime;
(d) Access to and/or use of the website by you or any other visitor or member of the website;
(e) Inaccuracies or omissions in content;
(f ) Acts or omissions of visitors to or members of the website:
(g) Loss of data, loss of profit, revenue, business or consequential loss as a result of your use or access of the website.

(c) We will always follow strict security procedures in storing, using and sharing Personal Information, in order to prevent unauthorised access to it. These security procedures may mean that proof of your identity may sometimes be required before information can be disclosed to you.
(d) If you do not wish to your Personal Information to be used in these ways then you should not apply to be a host or agree to be a guest. If you have already been a host or a guest at an Event and you decide that you no longer wish your Personal Information to be used in these ways then you may notify us at any time by emailing email@example.com.

(a) You agree that in return for us allowing you to host or attend an Event, you grant to us and our affiliates, licensees, subsidiaries, successors and assigns a worldwide, perpetual, fully transferable gratis licence to exploit by any means in and in any manner (whether now known or hereafter devised) and for any purpose (whether promotional or commercial) your name, likeness, image, words, quotes, photographs, recordings and other personal attributes created by any manner in relation to an Event. Any such exploitation as aforesaid shall not require your permission nor shall any payment or notice be due to you and you irrevocably waive any rights you may have in connection with the grant of rights in this clause. You agree that we shall be the sole owner of the copyright in and to any materials created at an Event which comprise your name, likeness, image, words, quotes, photographs, recordings and other personal attributes.
(b) We shall be entitled to cancel your participation in an Event at any time and for any reason. We reserve the right to determine in our sole discretion who shall participate in Events.
(c) Any products and materials supplied by us are provided solely for promotional use in connection with Events and are not intended for resale.
(d) Your participation in an Event is entirely free of charge and neither we nor our clients shall make any payment or contribution to your expenses in connection with you participating in or holding an Event although we may (but are under no obligation to) send you products and other materials for use in connection with an Event.
(e) You confirm that you have the absolute permission of the owner of the home or property in which you hold any Event.
(f) By agreeing to host an Event you confirm that you intend to host an Event on the date agreed and that if you are no longer able to host the Event on the agreed date then you will notify us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 7 (seven) days before the date of the Event, failing which we may not allow you to host Events in the future.
(g) You must not apply to be a host for any given Event more than once. Also only one host application per household is allowed for any given Event. You cannot be a guest and a host for the same Event.
